ADMISSIONS

Join The HOBEC Family

A very warm welcome to Horizon College’s Admissions Department.

Our role is to support you on your admissions journey and give you and your child a comprehensive insight into the admission process at Horizon.

Whether you would like to request the information sheet, arrange to visit, register your child, understand the process for assessment days, and entrance examinations, then the Admissions Department is your first port of call.

We want the admissions process to be an enjoyable and honest partnership, focused on achieving what is right for your child.

Entrance Exams

Every applicant sits a short entrance exam in English and Mathematics (French and Mathématiques for Francophone-track applicants), used to place your child at the right level — not to disqualify them. Our team will share preparation guidance once your application is confirmed.

The Founder's Scholarship

At each entrance exam session, HOBEC awards a full academic-year scholarship to our top-performing student. It's our way of saying: talent and hard work deserve to be rewarded, regardless of what a family can pay. Every applicant is automatically considered — no separate application needed.

Fees Payment

Tuition is billed by level and covers instruction across both the Anglophone and Francophone subsystems, access to our Talent Development clubs, and core school materials.

Registration is a separate one-time fee paid at enrollment.

We offer a termly payment plan so families can spread costs across some months.

Academic Calendar

Our school year runs in three terms, aligned with both GCE and Baccalauréat exam calendars. Key dates are published here at the start of each academic year.
